![]() This issue is apparent on both MAC and PC using ASIO4ALL and RODE ASIO drivers. The RODECaster itself works as it should. ![]() I have used a secondary interface to route the Main Stereo out to, incase this was causing the issue, however, the inputs all LEAK across one another inside of MIXXX. (Actually the faders for all of the other channels are off) If multiple inputs are active, say I had a guest on MIC 2, or bringing in a guest through the phone on the TRRS channel, Now the signals are looping on each other through MIXXX causing more static and interference. They don’t meter on the RCP, Just inside of MIXXX. I begin talking and MIC 2, AUX 1 AUX 2 and AUX 3 will all meter inside of MIXXX. Say a song ends and I click the TALK button to activate Mic 1. If you turned on the monitoring channels you can hear the audio leaks.įor example. Of course nothing outputs until those channels are activated, but they still meter sound. This happens with TALK/PLAY engaged or not. The meters on the RCP do not pick up anything across the other channels. Talk into MIC 1…MIC 2, AUX 1, AUX 2, AUX 3 all meter inside of MIXXX. ![]() When I say leaking, I mean that any sound produced within MIXXX will register and meter across all the other inputs within MIXXX. ![]() Mic 2: RODECaster Pro Multichannel Channel: 4ĪUX 1: RODECaster Pro Multichannel Channels: 9-10 (TRRS Stereo)ĪUX 2: RODECaster Pro Multichannel Channels: 11-12 (Bluetooth Stereo)ĪUX 3: RODECaster Pro Multichannel Channels: 13-14 (Sound pads Stereo) Mic 1: RODECaster Pro Multichannel Channel: 3 Main Out: RODECaster Pro Stereo Channels: 1-2 (This is the channel back out to the RC through USB - Mix Minus is turned on) So if you would configure Mic1 with Rødecaster and channels 3/4 you’d hear mic2 on mic1, of course. I read this as channels 1/2 = Rec (main mix), ch.3 = mic1, ch.3 = mic2 etc.ĭid you maybe set two channels for each mics in Preferences > Sound Hardware? The mic channels are single mono tracks, and all the other tracks are stereo – first left, then right. The remaining tracks represent the sources on the RØDECaster Pro, going from left to right across the console – starting with Mic 1 and going across through Mics 2, 3 and 4, the USB input, TRRS phone connector, Bluetooth input, and finally the sound pads. The first two tracks are the stereo mix, exactly as the RØDECaster Pro records to the microSD card. Please explain what leaks, more specific: how did you configure your audio i/O in Mixxx and -after starting Mixxx- which Mixxx controls do you touch to experience leakage?Īccording to RØDECaster Pro Multitrack - How It Works (And More Features From Update 1.1.0 Explained) Are there any plans to update MIXXX or resolve the audio leaking across inputs issue? I’m sure MIXXX was not programmed with RODE’s Hardware in mind, but I think the two are meant to work together. Using the RODECaster Multichannel with many other programs, I have deduced that it is a MIXXX issue. This audio leak also causes buffering, crackles and pops. The issue I have noticed, is that when MIXXX is set up with the RODECaster Multichannel for MIC inputs and AUX inputs, the audio leaks across the inputs. I am curious if MIXXX is planning to update to work better along side the RODECaster Pro. I am shopping around for software to use for my online radio station. RODE has updated the firmware many times since these posts were originally uploaded. Read through some of the other posts on this forum about using the RODECaster Pro in conjunction with MIXXX.
